ORWA has received approval from ODEQ to implement a new training event exclusive to the upcoming Expo. During this event, known as the “training demo,” attendees will have the option to rotate between select vendor booths for four, 15 minute demonstrations. These demonstrations combined will count as credit for one hour of renewal training. Due to space and time restraints, the vendor participation will be limited. If your company is interested in participating in this event, please select “yes” in the options above to be contacted with more information. The Expo is geared toward hands-on demonstrations and training, therefore the more activities taking place at your booth, the more exposure your company will receive.
Rooms are available at the Best Western Plus Cimarron Hotel & Suites for $99 per night. This offer is good through May 14, 2022. Call the Best Western Plus Cimarron Hotel & Suites directly at 405-372-2878 for reservations. Please mention the code “ORWA” to receive the group rate. All forms must be filled out completely and returned by May 27, 2022 for early bird discount.
The ORWA Equipment and Training Expo is held each year in the month of June to provide an opportunity for water and wastewater system personnel and directors to receive their required annual training and get some hands-on demonstrations of the latest technological advancements in the industry.
Each year nearly 300 persons, representing approximately 150 water and wastewater systems, from across the State, attend our Expo to share in the education, fun and excitement, and to explore the latest industry equipment displayed by the 40 or so exhibitors.
Everyone can try their hand in the equipment rodeo to demo new equipment and compete for some nice prizes.
Several door prizes are given away throughout the day with a continental breakfast (donuts and coffee) served in the morning with lunch provided.
While attending, please stop by to see the different vendors and thank them for their support.
All sessions count for Rural Water District and Corporation Board Member Training and ODEQ continuing education for all Certified Operators.
