Office Manager: Overall management of Rural Water System’s daily and monthly account and business operations, inclusive of, but not limited to: current and new membership account management; bookkeeping, accounts receivable and accounts payable; coordination of new installations and/or repairs with Line Manager and contractors; periodic correspondence with engineering, banking, and legal representatives; customer service; bill calculation and in- office/online payment processing and management; board meeting preparation, agenda filing, and recording of meeting minutes; overseeing capital improvement and maintenance projects; daily communication with Line Manager; website updating; management of 2 part time employees; various annual reporting to government agencies; knowledge of Open Meeting Act; and monitoring after hours phone. Monthly Board Meeting attendance is mandatory. Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Sequoyah Billing and Neptune Meter systems experience/knowledge is beneficial. Approximately 30 hours per week.
Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.
