city maintenance worker

The City of Morris is accepting applications for the position of city maintenance worker.  This position will entail care and maintenance of all city properties and equipment, including but not limited to street repair, water and sewer monitoring and maintenance for Morris Public Works Authority, monthly reading of meters, City of Morris Cemetery care and maintenance, etc.  A “D” class water and wastewater licensing is preferred.  If not licensed at time of application, it will be expected the job holder will be licensed as soon as possible.  Starting pay will be $20 per hour negotiable depending on experience and licensing.  Applications can be picked up at Morris City Hall M-F between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.  The City of Morris is an EOE.
