The City of McAlester has a FT opening in the Utility Maintenance Dept. for a UTM Supervisor.
Pay: $41,785 to $61,597
This position supervises and schedules work of Utility Maintenance workers, prepares work orders to include job location and instructions, troubleshoots utilities for repair or replacement. The supervisor must have a working knowledge of up to 30″ water lines and is expected to meet and talk with citizens regarding questions or complaints and meet with outside vendors and contractors. This position will also need to answer emergency calls 24/7 regarding water line breaks or sewer problems.
Requires Oklahoma B Water and Sewer operator’s license or OK Class C Water and Sewer that can be upgraded to B within one year of employment.
