Field Manager opening for Murray County Rural Water District 1.
Salary ranges from $40-$60 per hour based on experience.
The Field manager role is responsible for operating and maintaining distribution systems, repairing plumbing components of utility systems, both water distribution and storage system, water quality testing, works without direct supervision, corrective action is taken on own initiative, notifies board of directors of corrective action taken and of emergencies, maintains standards for potable water distributed in designated systems, determines proper procedures to meet required water quality, insures communications involving pertinent water operations to fill-in employees on days off and vacations, keeps accurate records on water system and repairs, and operates motorized equipment in such a manner to insure safety to others as well as self. This is a management position and requires the oversight of employees to accomplish work tasks.
This role is in charge of the administration of the day-to-day operations of the water department duties and contributes to the accomplishment of board objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, extreme ownership culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
