Technical Assistance Program
ORWA provides technical assistance to small rural water and wastewater utilities throughout the State of Oklahoma. This includes cities and towns with populations of 10,000 or less. We employ experienced and highly qualified field personnel with a combined experience of more than 300 years in all aspects of the industry including water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection systems, pumps, motors and controls, system management and office management.
Our Water and Wastewater Circuit Riders and other field staff make about 3,000 technical assistance visits each year, to work onsite with water and/or wastewater system personnel.
Troubleshooting problems and offering solutions, providing hands-on training for many aspects of operating a water or wastewater system, attending board meetings and responding to emergencies is just part of what our staff provides.
